The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.

SASSA will likely be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed regarding the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services place produced for intervention activities a higher inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend here to all people who stop by a service point.

“In here this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more methods to help the servicing of all consumers and raise access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
